Ripped me off

This complaint is about Cambridge Who's Who. The bascially took my money and refuse to give me a refund after I tried to cancel my membership.

They lied about the payment plan that they supposedly set me up on. There wasn't a payment plan. The told me that I could pay $199 down and pay $199 monthly until my balance was paid in full.

I called a few hours after I spoke with them to cancel the membership and no one was available to take my call.

I spoke to a supervisor the next day and she advised me that type of payment arrangements didn't even exist.

I expained that I didn't want the membership any longer and she explained that it wasn't possible. I advised her that I was sure that I wasn't the first person to change my mind about the membership and she explained that I was.

I also advised her that any materials that were being sent to me would be returned to the company unopened.

She then had the nerve to try to offer me $200 of the $718.95. She also advised me that next month they would be debiting another $199.

We argued back and forth and she advised me that the offer was on the table for 48 hours.

I think that Cambridge Who's Who is just a big scam to take money from people.

I hope that there is a class action suit. I would love to be apart of it. I will go to the media, BBB, and anyone who wants to hear my story.

I won't be happy until they are shut down.
