This company collected $ on my behalf in Feb. Until this week I have not been able to get an actual human on the phone but every so often. It's been mostly full voice mail boxes. When I have spoken to Steve (who is apparently the President) it's been the same line every time, "I'll look into it".

After calling every day this week and pestering anyone and everyone that I could get on the phone, I was told that a check was finally sent out, however for a fraction of the amount owed. I will believe it when I have the check in my hand. Better yet when and if it clears the bank.

In my case they contacted my company saying they were in the process of filing a large scale law suit against my customer and that if I didn't sign on with them, there probably wouldn't be anything left to collect. They contacted my company to let us know they were settling out of court and would be collecting some of what was owed but not all.

Again, that was back in February. It is now July and I still have not received the money that they collected on my behalf. It's been over a year that they have been drawing interest on my money.

I am curious though, in reading all the negative comments about this company and the thousands of dollars that has not been paid out for one reason or another, how is this company still in business? How do they still have a license to practice? Has anyone filed against them? Has anyone reported them to the American Collections Association Ethics Committee?
