The Starbucks on the way to my workplace is my morning happy place! The staff is consistent and friendly. After a couple of visits at the drive through, the staff remembered me. One beautiful sunny Friday morning, I pull into my Starbucks and straight to the speaker... No line, no wait! How could this morning get any better? I ordered my usual and as I arrived at the window, I found I had left all cash and credit cards in my other purse. I sadly told the employee at the window to cancel my order, that I had left my wallet at home and then prepared myself to slam the gears into drive, and go on to the office. My heart sank, but as I was stomping the brake, and reaching for the gear shift... That angel in the window said, "oh don't you worry about that, we are almost finished with your venti white chocolate. You can just pay next time." She just smiled and handed it over. I am sure the look of total shock my face was priceless. I will always return to MY Starbucks, they lead the industry with the understanding of how you keep customers for life.
