Southwest Dental Group - Rima Vice President Of Operations Not what you need but how much can we close you on AKA Treatment Coordinator Tempe

The location was close to home and our work showed them in our coverage directory. I made my first visit and the receptionist clearly stated my social security number so all 10 people in the waiting area could hear it. For me, a bad sign before even being looked at by the doctor.

I was looked at and then told a person would contact me with the numbers. It had been 2 days and no one called so I called and she suggested I come in to review the summary of charges. The person contacting me was the Treatment Coordinator or "Closer". I reviewed the numbers and wanted to prioritize the work from the most important to not such an emergency.

So I start in with root canals and once the root canals were done and over $1,000 later it is suggested that I do "Crown Lengthening" a specialized procedure which is done at the Peoria, AZ location. I went there to be examined and given the numbers. The Treatment Coordinator/Closer told me at that point that it would not be covered by insurance and the cost would be $1,900. I let them know that $1,500 was all I had to spend and could it be done? Several weeks later I called back as I wanted to move forward and get all my work done which would be crowns eventually.

Finally, Rebecca okayed the lower amount and the work was done April 17th. Went back 30 days later on May 17th and was told that I could move forward with the crowns at the Surprise, AZ location. She stated that they will call to set an appointment. Now 3 weeks had gone by and no one had called so I called Rebecca and she stated she would call Surprise, AZ and have them review the treatment plan and call you for an appointment. Today is July 7th and I have not heard a word from them.

Today I called the Adminstrative Offices to speak to Rima, the VP of Operations. She was not in however left her a message. Receptionist said someone will call you and I stated NO I want Rima to call or I will go public with all I know about your organization and the lady stated fine have a nice day.

The service, follow up and general demeanor is that of a car dealership in south Phoenix. A lady, upon my first visit, sat for over an hour and finally left due to the lack of attention and no one talking to her. She was in a dental chair sitting.

Never ever again!!!
