Loss Mitigation Company to scam you money

I responded to a website on the internet for Crossland Credit.
I was speaking to one of their representatives and she explained everything very clearly and very professional to me. I was quite impressed with the company and they promised to re-modify my mortgage loan and get me lower payments. This sounded wonderful. They built my hopes up.
However, I paid $450 down payment towards a $1800 fee and after 3 weeks, nothing was done. They continued to call me for more money. They told me they contacted my lender and when I called my lender, I was advised that nothing has been done at all. They even promised a government backed HOPE program and told me to find out about it.!!!
Very, very disappointed with the way they lie and make promises. They sat with my personal information and all my paperwork and did not do a thing!!!
Then, when I called to speak to someone, they gave me a gentleman, named Jason, that told me they will repair my credit and get me a 750 credit score in 30 days or your money back guaranteed. This did not seam possible, as I spoke to someone else in the company when I called back and they told me it takes longer, like 90 days, which is acceptable. A few other people told me that it takes more than that, but I am glad they would be honest.
I called back 4 other times, talked to different people at the company, and they all gave me a different song and dance, but one thing for sure, they all ASK FOR MONEY RIGHT AWAY!!!
They tried to sell me credit repair for $650!!!
I am a single parent with a small child, and I work 2 jobs and I want to save my home, but these people have no heart and want your hard-earned money for nothing.
I hope people will check the companies they do business with because this company is worthless and will not do anything but take your money and make you false hopes.
