I want to start this by saying that I consider myself an intelligent, college educated person, but I TOO was conned by Ronald Bradley Weiss. He had just been released from prison, was wearing a monitor, and living with his sister, Christie and her husband in Euless. He had a story that his family backed, as to why he had been in prison. He claimed it was a "mistaken credit card fraud". He claimed he was a pilot, had owned a real estate co in Alabama, and had money tied up in the Bahamas.

He began the "relationship" by playing on my emotion of wanting a marriage and an easier life for myself. He had all the right words... All the right moves. He took me to Tiffanys and had me try on jewelry. He promised to go back and buy it for me. He took me to a Mercedes dealership and had me pick out and test drive a new Mercedes. He said a man owed him money and was going to call and take care of paying for the car. But the worst was... He and I met and signed an agreement to sell my home and buy a new home under construction. I'm not talking about an average Dallas/Ft Worth home. I'm talking about a $800,000 home! He went so far as to make arrangements for custom features including an elevator so that my Mother could at some point come to live with us. He went to painstaking lengths to contact a fence company that specialized in custom iron fences. The Worst part of all of this was that he and I actually signed a contract on that home! In the end, I had the realtors tear up that contract and he signed one on his own. Months later, I was getting calls from the realtors wanting to know where that big payment. He had told them also, that he had money in the Bahamas, from a business deal. He also gave me a "6 carat diamond" that was actually a fake, and actually took it back when he left. Actually, he didn't leave, I kicked him out when I finally got fed up with no follow through with anything.
During this time, his parents moved to Dallas/Ft Worth from Houston, where his Dad had just finished Chiropractor college. His parents were true white trash. They had one car that broke down all the time. His Dad kept "holding out for the RIGHT job". So, he wasn't working and was letting his wife Joann work temp jobs to support them. They couldn't even afford groceries. They left chiropractor tables he had bought after leaving school, in my garage for months, for when he actually got a chiropractor job. It never happened. The final straw was that I loaned them money which they wouldn't pay back. I finally started calling everyday to bug them for the money. I finally told them I would sell the cherished chiropracor tables if they didn't pay me.
Keep in mind that his family protected him and his lies the entire time. His sister, her husband, and her parents all covered for him and lied to me. His sister even bought him a truck so he could get a job, which he didn't get.

Years later, I saw Brad's picture in the Ft Worth, TX newspaper, the StarTelegram, in their Ten Most Wanted, for credit card fraud. I also saw in the paper, an obituary of his Dad and an article about his Mom and Dad (along with a "lovely" picture) asking for money to help with his funeral expenses! The article said that his Mom had been "so upset" over his death, that she had suffered multiple strokes and couldn't afford healthcare. They were still trying to milk people for money! In my career in Medical Sales, I actually ran into his Mom in a Medicaid nursing home!!! I'm assuming that she died in there.

The Texas Prison System needs to know that he should be kept in prison for life! He is a true career criminal.
