Horrible illegal landlady

Ms. Six rented me a basement apt without telling me she expected a tenant who would pay rent and be a caretaker. After numerous drunken/medicated shrieking sessions she tried to evict me, even though I had already given one month's notice to leave AND she had cashed my final month's rent check.

To try to force me out she started construction in the basment making the place unfit to live. She also removed the smoke detector and AC during the time of my occupancy, which is illegal.

I have since called the tenants association and renters resources who say they will send inspectors to check if she has a certificate of occupancy and a permit to build. I hope they shut her down and save some other person the same grief I have gone through.
