Mistreated and ripped off

I purchased a 2000 epedition on may 22 from central florida auto broker i put 1500 down payment. I had a pick up on06/04/08and 06/18/08 both in the amount of 301.50. When i purchased the truck i explaint o the salesman that i could not make them pickup payments until 06/25/08 when i get my social security check. On 06/18 the owner and one of his people came to reposess the automobile we got in a agurment and i explain to him that i had called in and reminded the people that i will be in on 06/25/08 to take of the taxes and my tag. He didnt want to hear that i told he couldnt take my truck because i havent had it a month. So while i was on the phone with the police officer about the owner following me he took the temp tag off the vehicle so that i couldnt drive it. So luckily i had mine old tag from my old car that was wreck. The police told me to put it on and take it home. The next day my husband called the car lot and ask to speak to steve the owner and he refuse to talk, he told the salesman that sold me the car that he wanted the truck back and i can come back and get it on 06/25/08 if i bring the two pick up payments and the money for the tag. So on friday 06/20/08 mike came and got the truck he told me that if i bring them payments and tag money then i can get my truck back. So when i went to the car lot on 06/25/08 to pay what was owed he told his secretary the only way for me. To move that truck today is that i go ahead and pay my first month payment. Which is due on 07/01/08. Which i wont have until the first. I feel like i have been mistreated by this car lot. And i dont want to lose my down payment. Money is hard to come by im on a set income a month and thats what i live on. Due to him taking my temp tag off the truck and taking it back i missed doctor appointment. I really dont want the vehicle back after today because of the stress this man put on me i only what people to be very careful when you dealing with buy here pay here car lots. He dont deserve to keep my down payment because of action he took when he took my tag off and by coming to get it and i didnt even have it month. 07/01/08 would had been my first payment.
