Threatned to file papers to take the home of husband not on the bill

My wife who is mentally disabled was talked into getting a JC penny card 3years ago and was paying the monthly minimum if she could not pay more, and then ran into several serious problems with personal and financial areas. She did try to make monthly payments as she could afford but they would not accept the $10- 20 payments she offered until she could pay more. Now they kept calling with a automated message to hold on for an inportant message, but a live person never got on so she kept hanging up. Also the same company kept calling my number for some other person's who we don't know. We would get these calls every day several times a day with no contact made until May 27 at 9:05 PM. With this conservation a unidentified man was harrassing my wife and talking rudly and threatening to take our home in five days unless we pay a settled amount of $365 by June 1. Or make a monthly payment of $75 in which my wife said she could not pay that much yet because she is expecting some money she did not receive yet, and he kept threatning taking the home we live in even though she does not own anything to her name. The home is in her husbands name and is not on the JC Penny account. Well I told him she woud make $25 a month payment until she gets on her feet but he refused it and again threatned to take my home stating that Pennsylvania is a community property state and he could take the home from me. I then told him that in Pennsylvania the law prohibits threats of this nature from collectors, and he just kept argueing with me and before he hung up he threatned to see me in court. I am her payee on her social Security income and try to pay her bills when I can but when we get threatned and abused to the point of her getting so upset that she would be hospitalized for depression she is having trouble with.
