This is a long story but I will try to make it short. My wife and I bought the Qwest package, landline, dsl and wireless service. The probelm here is with Qwest Wireless. Since the beginning our service has been the worst for drop outs and lost calls between our two phones I have ever experienced. When we originally moved in our primary phone number was xxx-xxx-xxxx, we connected a second line months later, when we opened our wireless acount we were supposed to have free service between our home land line and our wireless phones. For some reason Qwest made our second line our home line, needless to say it is not. The home line has always been the same and it was pretty obvious the second line was new.

Over the almost 2 years we have constantly been charged for calls to our home line. We have spent hours on the phone with them and were told every type of story you could imagine and were reassured the change would be made. These promises go back to almost the beginning of our wireless service. Here it is, almost 2 years later and nothing has changed.

Over and Over again we were assured the change would be made, and always nothing happened. The most recent assurance was made last month, we recieived our bill a couple of days ago and the charges to our land line persist. Last week I finnaly got so sick of the poor quality of the wireless connection I smashed my cell phone, it felt quite good to do so. Not too long back we were informed by a Qwest customer service rep on the phone that because there was not a cell tower within a mile from our home we could cancel the service without penalty. When we tried to do that the next person told us that wasn't true and that there was a new tower within a mile from our house. That was a bald face lie as I can see in every direction for at least 20 miles from my house and no new towers exist. The company has constantly lied and made promises not kept.

I will never use Qwest wireless again I want to break my contract but fear they will try to penalize us. I feel the lies and time spent on the phone with them far exceeds the cost of cancelation and that Qwest has failed to honor their end of the contract. This company needs to be taught a lesson by it's disgruntled customers which seem to be a lot of.

If there is a lawyer out there that wants to represent a class action against Qwest Wireless for it's false representations of it's service it needs to happen. I don't think you'll have much problem finding people to join in on the suit.
