I visited Abundant Life World Outreach church for quite some time. I evenually grew tired of hearing the pastor ask, beg, con, mulnipulate people for money. A friend told me that some people were giving their 401Ks and some were even skipping car payments and mortgage payments to give a lot of money to the church.

The pastor's wife dresses very expensively... One Sunday's outfit from head to toe probably values around a Thousand dollars. So what's wrong with that? Nothing, if you are humble with it and not look your nose down at other people in the church. I went in liking the atmosphere, I went out not likng the atmosphere. There is little sign of love there, little talk of Jesus there, hardly none of lost souls. Money is the theme of the church and it shows in the pastor's sermons, wife's clothes, and the leadership's emmulation of their Founders.

It's a dangerous church to connect with, because if you don't give them your MIND and MONEY, you will be SHUNNED! I just could not allow a man to control my thoughts and personal life. I love giving to God, even tithing, but I won't succumb to trickery in a ministry to serve God.

I've found a much better church, where there is true worship, and people can trust the leadership to use God's money in the right way. Oh, by the way, there's a typo in their name in the complaint title. It should only be William and Sharon Motley, not Motley Washington. The person reporting the rip-off probably forgot to proofread.

I hope we have helped somebody else. Too many wounded people leave that church... They stayed tooooo long. I'm glad I observed it for a few months and then left. May God help those people eyes come open that's still there.
