Ripoff did not properly give amounts lied cheated charged my credit card anyway consumer rip-off fraud

Miscellaneous

I was called on the phone and they told me i was going to recieve a free quartz diamond watch along with free magazines and entry to over 100 sweepstakes, all i had to do is pay $3.85 per week for 4 years for 3 magazines in addition to the free magazines.
I agreed and gave them my card number.

Throughout the conversation I was then told that I would be charged 58.16 a month for 12 months. I then added this on my adding machine and found that it was $697.92 per year. I then told her that their was no way I was going to pay that price for a few magazines, I did not care what the free gifts were. She then thanked me for my time and hung up.

I had no phone, address or anything to go by. Not even an email. My credit card is actually a debit card through paypal and I can acess it 24/7 on line. When I opened my account the same day I seen a charge from them! First they tried to get $58.16 and it was denied because I did not have that much in my account. Then they tried to take $39.80 and were sucessful. Upon calling paypal, I found out that they had no phone number for these people and it was clearly fraud.

They misrepresented the whole conversation in the begining to get my card number, once they got it they abused it when I was thinking that they would not because I had disagreed with the monthly payment when they first told me that it would be a small weekly payment.
