Don't buy timeshares unless you can pay the contract in full

Timeshares are like a fish being swallowed by a shark! It is easy to get in but hard to get out! They generally include
a contract with high interest rates and can be paid over a period of time in monthly payments. Every property bought has a monthly maintenance fee attached to it which also needs to be paid.

If you are like most unretired people, you work 40 hours a week and have only the weekend to go to these resorts along with everybody else and unless you are a red color you have no priority. The priority goes from red to blue to white. White color hardly gets anything!

In addition to not being able to drop your contract, and get a refund, they will entice you to have a free weekend. The only requirement is that you meet with their sales people in a conference. Here is where they try to get you to upgrade but in the long run, you are committed to paying them more money.

If you feel you need to sell your contract, do not put any money up front for the company to sell your timeshare! More people have been ripped off by this method.instead, as for a contengiency. You will pay them a reasonable fee if they will sell your contract. Be aware of our of state salespeople because they will have to show the property before a client wou, d buy your propoerty. Also check with the better business bureau of the company in question. Not being a chamber member sends a red flag.
