Celebrity Resort At Indian Shores What a SCAM this company is!

I bought this timeshare in 1999 from Ramada Inn Resorts as an "investment" and they assured me during the negotiations for this vacation resort package. This property was sold to Leisure Resorts which went bankrupt. This is where all the problems begin.

Celebrity Resorts has had several management companies that didn't know what they were doing. I couldn't get my maintenance bills so they started threatening me with foreclosure; but I pulled an attorney in that showed them that they were not abiding by the contract that I signed and they backed off. But still when Celebrity Resort changes management companies (about once a year now), it is the same problem all over again.

I have never been able to stay at this resort; I have NO PHONE NUMBERS for the resort representative as they don't keep you informed of who is managing the company now. I actually went by the resort on my own and found it to be EMPTY when I was told that they were full and I couldn't use it at that time. So when I told the representative that I wanted to stay there for the rest of the week, he came up with the excuse that you had to go through reservations; but couldn't/wouldn't give me the number "because he didn't know what state I was from!" How Lame Is That?

This company has not EVER given me an accounting of my what my fees were; when they were due; or even where to send them now. Again they have changed addresses. I would warn anyone who would listen, DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I feel they are a scam. They want your money but don't let you use the facilities for one reason or another; then make sure you can't use it because they don't give you any working numbers to any of their representatives; but they will be quick to try to ruin your credit when you don't make maintenance payments that you don't know about!

If we are owners, can we sue them for denying us access to our property and not keeping us aware of any monies due until they actually turn you over to a collection agency. I wish to GOD that I could sell this property and get away from this disreputable company. You can't even sell the property as there are so many timeshares out there you get lost in the thousands of timeshares for sale.
