My Bank and I Caught Them in the Act of Attempting to Double Bill Me!

I placed an order with Silhouettes catalog, using the defer billing payment option on my credit card. First of all, they immediately charged the full amount of the order to my credit card... Rather than deferring the payment as agreed to their terms in the catalog. I immediately called them to find out what was going on, the customer service representative told me that it was my bank's fault not their's. So, I called my bank, and the customer rep at the bank told me that Silhouettes was wrong, that this was a charge to my credit card... Not a deferred payment/temporary charge (can't recall the term she used). Anyhow, I called Silhouettes back to inform them of what my bank told me, and the representatives blatantly told me I and my bank were wrong. (This went on for days!) Eventually, I filed a dispute with my bank, and Silhouettes eventually deferred the charge like they were supposed to.
Then when then the time arrived for the charge to post to my card a couple of months later, Silhouettes posted it 2 times! I called them to let them know that this was an error, and again... The representatives there told me that I was wrong in my judgement and the charge would drop and that it was my bank's fault! I called my bank again, and told the customer service representative what was said to me, and she told me that Silhouettes posted 2 charges to my account, and I can file a dispute. So, I did. I called Silhouettes again to inform them that I filed a fraud dispute for the double charge, and told the customer service rep that I can call my bank on three way if she would like. She said to me, "I didn't know you could do that! How can you call someone else while you're on the line with me?" I was thinking, "Yeah right! She must think I was born yesterday if I am going to fall for such a naive line like that! What does she think, that she was born in the stone ages?!" Anyhow, I called my bank on three-way, and my bank rep told her that Silhouettes blatantly charged me twice and that they were at fault. The Silhouettes rep. Had the nerve to say, "Well, we want to make sure, does she have enough in her limit to cover this purchase?" My bank rep said, "Of course she does, ma'am." I was beyond insulted! That did it for me! After that experience, I had made up my mind that I will never purchase anything from that company ever again! They don't deserve my business, or anyone else's for that matter!
