I was scammed by Sears Repair Service

I called Sears Repair Service to have them come and fix my lawn tractor. I told them something was wrong with the engine because it made a noise and the oil was thick. The man came, looked at the mower and told me it was the engine. I said I knew that, wasn't he going to fix it? He said they did not fix engines and I would have to get a new one. He also said they cost so much I might as well get a new tractor and proceeded to give me a coupon for $90 off a new tractor. Then I had to pay him $88 for this information. I feel I have been scammed. I called Sears and had the phone hung up on me three times. Any ideas on what my next step should be?
