Overdraft fees invalid invalidly charging me hundreds in overdraft fees

I would like to join the class action lawsuit in regards to Wachovia invalidly charging overdraft fees. This has happened to me on numerous occasions including today. I have been charged $245.00 today in overdraft fees.

I made several ATM purchases on March 3rd and 4th. They posted to the account on March 5th (they had posted to the check card holds prior to the 5th). My available balance according to my balanced checkbook was $59.54 at the end of the day on the 4th, yet my posted balance was $114.31. On the 5th a check was cashed which was greater than my available balance of $59.54.

At that time, Wachovia decided to post the check (it was the highest amount) which caused my posted balance to be negative, and then also finally posted the other ATM purchases which I made on prior dates as well causing $245.00 in overdraft fees. This is absurd and should be illegal. As a customer, I should not be held responsible for the bank's lag in time for posting transactions. I should only be held responsible for the transactions I make on the dates I make them.

Please contact me if you would like me to join the much needed class-action suit. I am going to the branch tomorrow after work to close my account and will be contacting my local news stations to try and get the word out.
