Tax Filing Mistakes

When I first working for this company, last year, I was helping a fellow co-worker out with her tax problems. She was not very tax educated, to say the least; but she also owed a substantial amount of taxes, for someone who earns very little. It seems that Hollywood entertainment failed to withhold any taxes from her full time job, for a whole year.

She attempted to contact Corporate and her Supervisor on the matter, but the issue was never reconciled. Unfortunately she had no savings to pay this high tax payment.

One year latter, I am facing the same problem. The difference is I kept every pay stub, but never noticed that they stopped withholding Fed taxes after my first check.

This company does not seem to care about the people that work for them. This is more than neglectful. Is this not criminal behavior?

My submitted tax exemption's were on each pay stub; but they failed to do the work. I know I should have check closer, but I am not the only one that made that mistake.
