They took money out of my account without my authorization

Hello my name is Joanna and I got money taken out of my account without my authorization. A gentleman called with an accent, saying I won a package; which included a free vacation, diet pills, free digital camera and a cd with free internet. He was very pushy, and kind of hard to understand. He said that I would only have to pay for shipping and handle which would only be 1.95 and that was it.

I found it very hard to believe and I asked him what the catch was and he said that it was going to be a trail to see if I liked everything. I then asked how he had my information and he said he got it off the internet. He then said that I would have to give him my bank information for the shipping and handling fee.

So I thought okay I'll do it but that was the most wrong choice I've ever done because 2 weeks later or so I got 169.93 taken out of my account without my okay. I know your probably thinking I was very dumb to have done that and I was because they pretty much did whatever they wanted.

I've never done anything like this before so everything I's still new to me. I was so overwhelmed that I called my bank letting then know what had happened and what I could do to fix it and they ended up transferring me to different places and finally I got threw to the main check fraud representative but I got her answering machine and I left a massage and this happened on a Friday I didn't talk to her until Wednesday. She basically said we can't help you and I would have to go threw them. I also got charged for them taking out the check and now I'm over drafted in my account.

I called the company the same day and they were no help either, she just said to fax my statement showing that the amount was taken out. And they would send me a later saying yes or no on getting my money back I tired to explain the situation but she just shut me down. I was so upset and disappointed in myself even more because I had things I needed to do with that money. I just can't believe that they can get away with this and nothing can be done.
