Ellerbach Breeder Ellerbach Puppy Parvo Palace in Holy Cross Iowa is selling puppies (currently 16 diff. Breeds) with bad health and temperment issues!

November we purchased a nine week old Labra-doodle for $300.00 from the Ellerbach breeding facility. The next morning took her to a local veterinary clinic for a physical and start the vaccination regiment, and had to have her put to sleep that afternoon at our expense! The vets said she had Parvo Virus. This is a HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS virus resulting in a slow and painful death.

Since this appalling experience, we have heard numerous horror stories of others who purchased dogs from this puppy mill, and many cases involve either terminal health issues or extreme behavioral problems resulting in euthanasia.

Ellerbachs sell these puppy's as "Guaranteed". However, the guarantee extends to a replacement puppy of the same sex and breed only! EVERY veterinarian interviewed stated; due to the highly contagious nature of the parvo virus, there is a high probability every pup in the litter is infected... Do not get a replacement puppy! Additionally, our home was now a deadly breeding ground containing the parvo virus as well with recommendations of a waiting period of twelve weeks at the very minimum, including a total scrub-down with bleach!

BUYER BEWARE:
Education after the fact taught us we should have seen the signs... The Ellerbachs do not allow viewing of the parents or the living conditions!

Only the requested sex (male, female) of the requested breed is brought to their garage for display. Often time, selection is not offered, they choose one pup to show.
