THey were polite, funny, pushy, sympathetic, competitive, nasty

My husband and i were in a hurry to leave from out apartment when two young boys came up to us. They said that they were from a college that i attended to and told me about the a trip that they were going on. They were doing a fund raiser and wanted us to help out. They knew so much about my college and told me stories that was going on right then. Since we had trust in them that they went there we really though that they were going on a mission trip. So we paid the money to help them out.
They told us weird stories about how they went to the mall and were checing out girls and how hot they were with mini skirts on. They also kept complimenting me on my accent. They talked about stuff like that after they talked more about how to help on this mission trip they were supposedly going on.
After about 2 months of not receiving any magazines we figured that there had to be some kind of mistake. We look their agency up and sure enough it is a fraud. We feel very taken advantage of and defenitly ripped off!!!
