Several years ago I joined Area Circulation thinking it was a good deal. To be honest I dont remember what exactly happened but I remember being very upset with the service and having to call them several times. Eventually I wanted to cancel my subscription but was told I had to pay out the remainder of my bill... So I did. And I expected to never hear from them again. But instead I hear from them several times a year even though each time I ask them to take my number off their list and I refuse anything they are offereing.

About a week ago I get a call from them telling me that I agreed to renew at the end of my subscription... I immediately told them to cancel it for good! The guy simply said ok and hung up, so I have found my last bill and it specifically says when my FINAL PAYMENT was due. It says NOTHING about a renewel. FINAL means FINAL! And that was 03/01/05.

So today I tried calling the number on my bill AND the customer service number and got no answer... Although I assume they may be taking off for Jan. 1st, I'll give them that and will be calling again 1st thing in the morning. I just wanted to warn people that you cant get rid of this company! I dont know of anyone that has had a good experience with them. I type Area Circulation into google and this RIPoff site is the 2nd site listed... I think that says alot about the company. If I have to personally go to the media or report them to the BBB I will, this company should be ashamed and know when to just leave people ALONE!
