About a year ago, a young man came to my door selling magazines to earn money for college. I purchased a subscription to be sent to a friend of mine as a surprize. For the past year I have been wondering why he has never thanked me for my thoughtful gift ($54). A few weeks ago, I asked if he was enjoying his subscription - he never got it. I called the number on the receipt, but it was disconnected.
