Two teenage girls sold me a children's magazines from Silver Hill Circulation. I paid in full $55 and never received a single magazine

Two girls came to my door July 17 selling children's educational magazines. While playing with my 3 year old they were telling me about how they get points for their school, it was girls vs boys.

I paid $55 in personal check to Silver Hill Circulation. $13 of it was for processing and handling in which the girls neglected to tell me before I started writing the check for a smaller amount. The check cleared the bank a week later.

I never received a single magazine issue. I've tried calling the company and I get a recording saying the number is disconnected. I just want a full money refund. This company is not legit and I think it's very disgusting that they use young girls to solicit.
