I have been going through Family Court/Child Support Collection Unit for over 4 years with deadbeat dad! I have gotten so many judgements for his portion of medical, and past due child support. (and now attorney fees: finally hired one - I am so fed up)

Unfortunately, the judgements mean very little. Sure, it shows on his credit report, but for someone who has already filed bankruptcy, what difference does that make?

Garnishing his wages? Sure, that would be great, it he would stay at a job long enough for the employer to have to abide by the garnishment. Now the kicker is he works off the books (even admitted that in court - twice!) Somehow I thought that was against the law?! Sure wish I could keep every penny I made, but no; I pay my taxes!
Taking away his driver's license? Ha! Like that stops him...
Intercepting his tax returns? A person working off the books?! Hello?!

I have written to Senators, the Governor - while I know the CHild support collection unit does what they can, for people who want to "play the system" - They can! Not fair to the children these deadbeats father... We gotta somehow change the system. Finally, I got a judge who will sentence him to 30 days in jail unless x y and z... Very frustrating!
