Rip-off! Deadbeat Dad Gets The Breaks

I don't see where people think the women get favored by the Wayne County Friend of The Court. My ex-husband, aka Deadbeat Dad, is the one favored in my opinion. He owes me $39,856.81 as of 10-18-04, in Child support. I have written numerous letters, with no response, and I have taken it to court numerous times. I have to pay for parking everytime I go there, to try to get him to pay something towards the arrearage. He should have to pay for my parking since he's the one that made me have to go there, due to his contempt.

All they ever do is slap him on the wrist. Sometimes they get him to pay something, which is not even a fraction of what he owes. He never gets any jail time or judgment brought against him and the case gets dropped. This is not fair to my son. My son is a teenager now. As most people know, the older children get the more expensive their needs grow. My son is suppose to wear braces. His father said he'd put him on his health insurance. To this date I have never seen a medical card or any proof one was issued.

The father of my son is responsible in the court order to pay 90% of all medical expenses for my son. His father also states that it wouldn't be effective for Orthodontical expenses for 1 year from when he signed him up. I don't know whether that is truthful or not since, there's no evidence he was added to the policy and I don't know the name of the company. My ex-husband was ordered to pay child support since our Divorce in 3-94. I have put up with his contempt of not paying his child support for 10 1/2 years. I guess once a deadbeat, always a deadbeat..
