Total scam

I also worked for this company from December to January. I was doing training manuals and excel spreadsheets. My agreed upon pay was $11/hr. After i worked 2 weeks for 78 hours, most 12hr days. I asked when my pay would be sent. John Ottman completely ignored me and kept on talking about the work. When i asked again about the pay i was told don't worry about it and again the subject was changed.

This man is a scam artist and liar. He tells people that he is located outside Boston.in fact he is in Rhode Island, yes, outside Boston but nowhere near Mass. He purports to be a contractor and doesn't have the proper license per the contractors licensing board of Rhode Island. He uses lines and lies to get people work and some of those people may be illegal. If you are a contractor in the U.S. You must have a contracting license in every state that you do work. Ottman does not. NEVER, EVER work for this guy. He will use you and then not pay you. He avoids the subject vehimently. Finally after he kept avoiding the issue i told him no pay, no work. Then he accused me of having company documents and stealing from the company. I still told him no pay no work. He wouldn't talk after that about money or anything.

I called many state and federal offices. These included the FBI/FCC because of using the internet. The irs, U.S. Immigration, Rhode Island District Attorney's office, Washington State District Attorney's office, The Rhode Island Contractors Licensing board, Washington State Labor board as well as several other offices. Finally 2 weeks later he came up with the money. If i hadn't gone to those agencies and refused to do the work for him he would have kept going on and on and never had paid me. His assistant Laura is also in on all of this. She makes excuses like the computer is down so they can't transfer the money. When i asked about Western Union, he had no comment. A RED FLAG should be raised if you see anything about work at home from this business. Simply DON'T DO IT!!!
