Child Support Los Angeles County
You go to court, they give you a release, but they dont notify dmv, ripoff

I went to court in january of i was given a paper from the clerk stating that they were sending the information to the dmv to release the hold on my driver's license. I subsequently have been to dmv approximately 6 times, brought the paper that the court gave me and they still have a hold on my license. The dmv states that it has to be done internally and that the paper the child support clerk gave me does no good, now, i will have to miss work, go back down to the court house and try to fix this matter.in the meantime i stayed on hold with the child support services department for over 1 hour and 45 minutes on my cell phone and was disconnected because their office was closing. I don't know what it is going to take for this hold to be lifted if going to court doesn't solve the matter and you cannot reach any one by phone, they won't give you a fax number to fax the copy of court documents they gave you. I guess they would rather have us loose our jobs or get put in jail for driving on a suspended license because they cannot get any staff that knows what they are doing. This has caused be immeasureable hardship in my life.
