Liquivida / Liquidity TexStar / Liquivida Pyramid Scheme False imprisonment, want you to pay them $700 to buy into the scam. Ripoff

Miscellaneous

I made the mistake of attending an interview last month with a company called TexStar. I arrived to was told to it was very important to sign in the name of the person who had called me. I walked into a room to see a large group of people gathered. Most were older and seemed to lack a college education. I say this because I talked with a few of them and it was apparent they were on their last leg. They were pretty much there due to desperation. After 20 minutes, a woman began a speech. Her mission was simple; to try to sell this product called Liquivida to the people that had gathered. Yeah, she was running a sales pitch to people that had come for a job interview. She claims the product had all the things a human needs in it. She said she also sold a product that could take 3-5 years off a person in 20 minutes. Not make them look younger, but actually take the years off. The entire time I am sitting here thinking I have innocently fallen into an Amway nightmare. I was about to just get up and walk out when the pitch finally ended. It turned out to be a pyramid scheme of epic proportions. The so called recruiters basically mine the job sites and call hundreds of people to set up interviews. They tell you everything you want to hear and try to get you to come to an interview. When you arrive you are presented with the sales pitch to buy into their scheme. The ladies sales presentation was a complete joke. It made no sense and was remedial at best. I almost laughed a few times. The people that had called to set up the interviews were yelling out load that the product was good. One girl next to me kept saying, "Very powerful" when the product was mentioned. I am shamed to have even been in the room, as I know I was the most educated person present. It was like my IQ was being lowered with every word uttered from the speaker's mouth. The company said it was called TexStar. TexStar is actually the so called marketing division of a company Liquidity which sells a vitamin drink called Liquivida. The entire product is a joke, and the people are under the impression it contains the fountain of youth. It is the ultimate Kool Aid for consumption by idiots. After the first sales pitch, I am confronted by no less than 3 people trying to get me to give them $700 to get started. They say I need $500 for a leadership conference and the rest will be used to purchase a box of Liquivida to sell to other idiots. I say no and start to get annoyed. Then the fun part begins, they tell me they have a special guest speaker coming. He is the top sales guy and is going to speak for two hours. They say he gets paid $1,000 an hour to speak and it is an honor. They then provide food, I decline to eat it and walk outside. I am then confronted like a piece of food being taken from a starving man's plate. I was just getting some fresh air, and they were scared. Some girl comes out and starts talking to me as if she is talking me back inside. I later found out she was the one I had talked to on the phone. Which means she was the one to profit from anything I would have done with the pyramid scheme company. I just ignored her and walked off. This crap is insane and I hope no one ever goes to this place expecting to find anything resembling a real job. This is a typical pyramid scam. They even showed pyramid pictures during the speaker's presentation. They displayed one person with two people below him, followed by four people. It progressed to 64 people and said you could make $1,500 a month if you had 64 people. I also found out that the special guess speaker actually had an office next door and was always coming to speak. This place is a joke and it is insulting to anyone who attends. Do not even bother messing up your suit and having to pay for dry cleaning.
