They took out $159.95 out of my account without consent! I have NO idea WHO this company is and HOW they got my band information in order to process a check from my banking account! Seatac Washington

I woke up this morning and checked my checking account on the online website of Washington Mutual. At the top of the list there was an amount of $159.95 from EDP CARD.

I have NO idea of who this company is, but within further investigation on my own, I realized it was a Pre-paid Mastercard company. I called the number on the check and after they had asked me to give them my SSN #, and I declined giving it to them, they then disconnected the call.

I receive SPAM mail in my email all the time, a lot of them do come up for the Mastercard that has been pre-approved for a credit line of $10,000. I have NEVER applied for any such card, especially not online. I'm in the process of disputing it with my bank right now. Since it's the weekend the Fraud department is closed, so it will have to be taken care of during the week.
