Debt collectors scam

I received a letter from Boyajian Law Office regarding my Sprint PCS account in October'06. I called and spoke with their representative if they can give me an offer so that I could pay my debt. So, they told me to pay $242.00 to satisfy my debt. I paid them using my husband personal check back in October'06.

When I spoke with them they said as soon as they receive the money they will send me a letter of "0" balance letter and they will notify the three credit bureaus and their client which is Sprint PCS.

Couple weeks went by I didn't receive a "0" balance from them. I called them in Nov. Then Dec. They keep saying they will mail it out. But I still haven't receive nothing.

New year went by I kept calling them in Jan., Feb and now March'07 I still haven't receive nothing. Their representative are nasty on the phone, they hung up the phone on me. So I keep calling back for the letter but they keep saying they will send it... I'm fed up. I'm sick of it..
