Fraud. Scam Artist, Paid to have flooring installed gave a $4000.00 Deposit ran off with money

On March 15 Mr. Willie B. Hugger and Ms. Barabara Hayes Ditchko arrived at my home representing Big Carpet Sales. They gave my husband and I an estimate on installing wooden floors after aggreeing on the price, we asked how soon the floors could be installed and how long would it take. We gave them a check in the amount of $4000.00 and agreed that they would start the demolition of the old floor on the 23rd of March.

March the 23rd came and went for 2 weeks we heard nothing after calling them day after day I was told that they could not find the wood we wanted and it would take them another 30 days. Needless to say months passed and no floors. We finally got them to return $1000.00 of our hard earned money.

We took them to small claims court the court entered a judgement on Barbabra Hayes Ditchko for failing to appear and ordered us to mediation with Mr. Willie Hugger after entering into mediation were he agreed to pay us $3,295.00 the balance of the amount due plus court costs in monthly installments of $330.00 beginning March 20 and ending December 31 we have yet to receive a dime. The worst part of all this they still advertise in the flyer and local newspapers.

This needs to stops these scam artist have no business on the street. I have done everythign I know to do including taking them to court and yet they still prey on innocent hard working people. They must be stopped.
