Fraudulent charges Ripoff

Shopping essentials appears to be a common theme at this website and they got me as well. I have not noticed because I thought maybe my wife was paying for a product from that company or something but they got on my bill for 6 months. Here is where things get interesting and when I decided to leave the credit card company as well. The credit card company said that if someone had authorized them to credit my account they can never stop payment on the account. This was the most insane thing we have ever heard.

So a company gets our credit card information and gets authorization not necessarily from us and can continuous draw money from our account regardless even after we have told the company we have refused payment. And the only way to refuse payment is by reporting it as fraud which this case is?

Now we have to go through the hassle of call 5 different companies that are good companies to changing our billing information because one fraudulent company screwed us. How fair is that to have a fraudulent company screw up payment for 5 good companies? Well, I thought I was a valued customer of Citibank for 15 years not any more.
