Cashed check for items, did not send Ripoff

I also subscribed to dish network thru these losers, and was told i would get a $50 gas card and a"free" dvd player. After 4 months, i called to inquire. Wastold i would get a form to fill out and return. It stated my premiums would be mailed out the day after this form was recieved. The form also stated the need for a "$9.99 shipping and handling fee"for the dvd player. Shame on me. I sent the fee. My check was cashed. No goods. But shame on the cable dawgs if "jeff" doesn't get back to me. I have friends in the state attorney general's office, and the county prosecutor would be easy to get ahold of. Local fox television also likes to deal with shady business people. My guess would be it's easier to just give me the goods i was promised in good faith. I have a strong will, and we'll see where this goes from here.
