I received a letter and a check in the mail saying i was a confirmed winner of the megawin North American consumer Cash Promotional Draw conducted on November 26. My attached to ticket with serial number 6502B won the sweepstakes for US$44,000. Enclosed is a cheque for US$2,963.84. The purpose for the check is to pay for processing fees.
It also stated to not negotiate the cheque until I contact my client care manager for further clarification.
I was instructed to call Steve Milton @ 902-412-9188 ext. 229 to expedite my claim. It was not even a professional number!
I feel that something should be done about this issue and those that were fooled should be compensated.
