Took money from my bank account without my permission. I don't even know how they got my info

The Discount Readers Club took money from my bank account illegally. I have not ordered any magazines so I have no clue how they got my bank account information. I called and spoke to a customer service rep. She played my a tape that was suppose to have been what took place in the converstion. I remember my husband having the conversation. This tape had him saying 3 words. When I heard him he was telling the individual that he wanted nothing and that he wasn't interested. I don't understand how the tape changed.

Then I ask the girl to tell me the owner's name, she wouldn't. I kept asking how she got my bank info and she said we must have ordered magazines or something. We have not. Our bank account is a fairly new account and we haven't given our info to anyone especially over the phone.in the phone recording the woman played to me the woman already knew our bank account info.

I am contacting everyone I can to raise a fuss. The woman I spoke to would not give me any info about the company. I actually got the address by finding this website. They took $149.95 from my account and made all kinds of stuff bounce. I am calling the officials. I am also calling a lawyer. I did not give these people my bank info or permission to use it.
