Miscellaneous

As everyone else has, I seen this commercial on the TV about getting your FREE lesson to ANYTHING you wanted on the computer through Video Professor. It would only cost you $6.95 for shipping is all you would pay. I got online and purchased this FREE lesson. I received FrontPage, a 3 CD set, which is what I ordered. I looked at it. I viewed the first 2 cds and this was over about a 30 days time.

I checked my bank statement as I do every month and found a $79.95 charge to my account for the NEXT DAY and this was the day before at 4pm. I had to wait until it actually posted to see who it was from. After it finally posted as a charge, not a pending charge, I found out that Video professor had just charged me $79.95. I called them and asked them what I was charged $79.95 for. The lady on the phone said you received the FrontPage lesson. I said yes but it was only $6.95. She then said for shipping, after 30 days if you don't like it you can return just ONE out of the Three cds and you wouldn't get charged. I said I was never told that.

I wanted the lesson that was FREE she said that I would have to return 1 CD to get credited. I said no it said on the website it is FREE for just the shipping. She said yes but after 30 days if you want to keep it that it is $79.95 that the $6.95 if just to "TRY" it. Not GET the free lesson but just "TRY" it.

They have a bait and switch going on here. They tell you free but then they charge you. I would like to see a class action lawsuit brought against the CEO and the rest of the company for these practices.

The lady then told me that it would take 15 days to get refunded. I said "BS". It took you 2 seconds to charge it, it can take you 1.5 seconds to refund it. She said no it takes 15 days. I said how about I file a lawsuit and contact my bank to file credit card fraud charges which my bank takes action on immediatly. She said, "I can expedite it". I said to 2 seconds? She said no to 3-5 days. I said you just don't get it do you. You just took money out of my account without my authorization which is a Federal Offense and a crime. I said it better take you 2 seconds to put the money back because in 3 seconds I am calling my bank and reporting this. Low and behold the money was in the account VERY QUICKLY. They KNOW they are doing something wrong and they will KEEP doing it until they are stopped. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS!

On top of all of this I viewed the final CD and the entire lesson DID NOT tell me anything new. I know more that what was on the CD. Don't ever buy this, they pull a bait and switch, and from what I see it is every time.
