Stop! Hang up once you hear the name Video Professor to avoid unauthorized charges! Ripoff

I signed up for SBC internet service. At the end of my call, they asked me to hold and someone will provide me with a great offer for becoming an SBC member. So, I waited. (Since SBC has a good rep) On comes a sales person giving me the whole video professor speech! - "If you dont like the lesson, return only one, and you will be charged absolutely nothing, ever! And just for trying this you will be mailed out a enhanced digital cameral and all you pay is shipping!" blah blah blah! O.K. No obligation? I asked myself, Promoted by SBC - Lets try it!
I recieved the package and immediately sent back the first lesson after viewing it! I also sent back the certificate for the the camera - which by the way will be mailed to you in 6-8 wks! Weeks later, I check on the status of my camera and to my surprise - they never recieved my certificate! So after going in circles with them they, they manually entered my certificate for my flemmmmsyyyyy dollar store camera with the unreadable attached manual! I figured, you get what you pay for and took it as a lesson learned.

Two months later they took $69.95 out of my account claiming that I agreed to view another set of cd's when i called to get my cancelation #! =reread this statement.

Why would I call to cancel, yet order another lesson?
B#!! These people work off commission and someone at the office signed me up for this to get brownie points!

They stated that they would issued me a refund in 5-7 days. 10 days later nothing. I called back and they said 10-15 days! Bull or what???!!! It took 2 seconds to pull it out it should of took 2 seconds to put it back. That's not the case!!! I tried to speak to supervisors one in particular - "Afrin" who did absolutely nothing but repeat himself like a robot - 10- 15 days!

Please do not give these people your account number! Your not missing anyting, they CD's suck as bad as the company!
