Mortgage Lead Scams, Promised 15-30 Leads for a 24 hour trial campaign and delivered ZERO

I have recently started a branch in Phoenix, Arizona and we are trying to get our office up and running. I wanted to give our LO's a different type of lead instead of the standard internet leads. I did some research about different telemarketing firms and decided to go with a company called Qualified Leads out of Scottsdale, Arizona.

The salesperson was Darren Paulson. He gave us the typical song and dance of how great they were going to do for us. The promotion was for a 24 hour campaign to 'earn' our business. That cost us about $1,000. We had to pay by check only. That's a problem because there's no going back once they get your check.

As soon as we paid for the campaign, the nightmares started. For some reason, now we can't send an e-mail to the company without it being rejected. I don't have that problem with any other e-mails. Our calls always go to voice mail and the messages are very rarely returned.

When we initially signed up I told Darren that we needed to get the campaign going ASAP. He said he could accomodate us. It took them over two weeks to finally get the campaign going. When we initially received our script it was for another company. We felt like nothing more than a commission check to them and I let that be known by sending a fax.

They started the campaign and it was supposed to be about 750 numbers dialed to our list criteria. Because of the inconvenience and awful service we were promised an extra 100 contacts. Darren never got me anything in writing so that wasn't handled.

Day one of the campaign (Tuesday) was about 200 dials and resulted in zero interested borrowers. Day two of the campaign (Wednesday) was about 200 dials and resulted in zero interested borrowers. Day three of the campaign (Saturday) was about 300 dials and resulted in zero interested borrowers. That's when it hit me that this company was a complete fraud.

Calling 750 people and getting zero response from a qualified list isn't possible. I could go down a main street in Phoenix and throw business cards out the window for more response than we got from Qualified Leads.

The company is now saying things like 'It's a tough market out there' and 'We've been really busy'. They weren't too busy to take our money, were they?

I had a conference call with the director Todd Richardson and the account manager Theresa McCarthy. They think they did everything right and that sometimes the campaigns are 'hit or miss'. They did commit to do 180 contact for us using our list but of course, I can't e-mail them the list because it keeps getting rejected. My phone calls go right to voice mail and continue to be unreturned.

Qualified Leads is a total scam. They will tell you exactly what you want to hear and not deliver any results. Like many of the lead generation companies, it's like trying to 'find the forest through the SLEAZE'. I'd advise that you don't invest one penny in this joke of a company.
