Golden Leaf Village are ripoff slime balls with nasty apts and a managment team that does not care. Plano

I lived in golden leaf village for almost a year the first six months were ok. But after that it got very bad. The people living above us had a slow leak under their dishwasher, it was going inbetween the walls so one one knew about it then one night iwoke up towhat sounded like a water fontain in the apt. I walked in the living room and kitchen everything was flooded. I know this was noy there fault but what happened next was.

First it took them a week to finish getting all water out of carpet and to replace padding and then to clean carpet. I ask them about the water in the wals and celling they said it would air out. About a month later we started noticing huge water roaches.

So i had them come spray everyweek for about a month but they just seemed to b getting alot worse they were evey where. They they decided to spray the bug kller up in the walls to see if that would help. My husband was sleeping in a closed off bed room at the time they did this. He was awakened by the sound of the bugs running around in the walls. We left the apt while they finished spraying. When we retured there we alive and dead bugs everywhere. I has very small children and could not even go in to the apt. They were so nice (yeah right) by offering us another apt a bigger one that would cost us an extra 100 a month which we did not have.

I knew others in the same complex that had leaks also and they told them to let it all air out. An others have rodent problems. Another problems there was the maintins guys took for ever to finish things that needed to be done my neighbors stove messed up it took them 2 months to replace it she only had one usable burner for that long. She also had a hole by her door that was not noticeable well she had a snake come in to her apt. They are old apt and they say theey are remodling but as many leaks there has to be mold and what ever in the walls. From the time we had the leak in our apt my son 2 at the time was having repitory prob and we had to take him to the doctor on many occasions no what we have been out of those NASTY apts he has been off the medication the doctor had put him on he is much better.

The only good thing that the managemet ever did for us was to let us out of our lease a month early and they made a big deal out of it, but in the end they finally let us out. I would not recomend any one living in these apt. They seems nice until u get all settled in.
