Ripoff Dont buy off the TV! I dont think any of them are real anymore! Its only going to cause you grief! They are all fraudulent! Memories Direct is the worst!

I ordered a scrapbook two for one deal for $29.99, off of the tv. The phonecall itself was frustrating. It was an automated call. They first asked if i was ordering the scrapbook two for one deal and i said yes, and it proceeded like that. Questions following were what color do you want? Green or purple? So when the phone call got to the end and i was saying no to some of the things, the call gave a phone number and hung up.

I was stunned, I thought it would give me a total first, and then i would have a chance to talk with an operator, because at that point I had several questions.

So I dialed the number it gave me, but it didnt give me to any company even slightly related. The phone # led me to a company by the name of 'At Home Rewards'. So I thought maybe the guy on the phone was being snotty, and i tried calling again - i talked to two other people in the company who said they werent related at all. I then looked them up on the computer and they werent.

While i was at it i looked up Memories Direct. I researched the thing and couldnt come up with anything. Im not sure if i was just putting in wrong, as now I am finding it on the computer as of 10/1st.

Anyway a couple days later i was checking my bank account and there was a huge charge on my account that i didnt know about or what it was for $167.00. I called my bank and we took care of it there.

Then I got a box delived to me on the 10/6/06. It was a big box and i was baffled until i opened the box and saw a whole bunch of scrapbooking stuff that i didnt order!!!

Since then I have looked into trying to send it back, however it turns out that there is no business at that address. Secondly it cost them $52.00 to send it to me, and Im not about to pay to send something i never asked to send it back to a company that doesnt exist!

So I am in a spot - wondering if there is anything you can do to help me or others to not get ripped off from these people. My claim on them is ongoing still. I couldnt beleive how many others have the same story!
