Sunshine Subscription Agency Aka Ssa ripoff lying stealing

I recently had a young man come knock at my door one night around 7:30 pm. I thought it was my roommate's boyfriend, so i just automatically opened the door. When i opened it, it was him with a card in his hand saying "this is a card to show you that this deal is not a fake". I then looked at it and it said help me earn 1,000 points to go on a trip to cancun. He said that if i just bought something, he'd have all his points and be on his way to cancun & that also my next door neighbors had bought some off him. It looked fine to me, but then he asked to come in so he could use a table to write on. I refused to let him, so he just sat out on the steps outside. He asked me what my hobbies were & i told him music. He then tried to tell me about all these magazines to buy that talked about music. Then he said if i didnt want one of them, that i could buy some for my fiance, who likes to go off-roading. There was a book just for that. So i got to thinkin about it, then he comes off with "if you do it as a gift, i get even more points" so i thought. Why not? He then told me the price. Thirty-six copies for thirty dollars. Sounds really good. Then when i went to write the check, he said, well there's another ten dollar processing fee, so i just went ahead with it because he had already wrote it all out. I was doing all this just so he could get that trip. I didnt have a really good feeling about doin it all, so after i shut the door, i ran upstairs & googled it. I found this website with tons and tons of complaints. I then got really sick at my stomach. Now, i have to go to my bank and cancel my check first thing in the morning before they can go cash it. It will take thirty dollars to cancel my check, but i'd rather do that, than just let it go & have fun with it. I really don't see how those people can sleep at night. That is stealing. I have definately learned my lesson. You can't be nice to everyone, even if that's how you were raised to be. I'm never fallin for anymore door to door sales ever again...
