Rent A Center Billion dollar company shows its employees no respect at all!

I was an employee of the RAC for almost three years. I have seen so many people that work there do things that I don't think any job would stand for. The first boss I had, he had a whole house full of Rac merchandise, mind you which was not paid for. He would drink on the job when he was there. And the rest of the time he just wasn't there. He worked for the company for years until he tried to cover up a brawl that stemmed from drinking on company time, and he got caught! This company is a serious joke!

The money was great, but the ridicule and secrets that you have to hide and go through are disgusting! There were missing bank deposits, missing merchandise, but as long as you were kissing someones a@* you could get away with murder. Besides the long hours and dealing with incompitent employees, the big boss was no better, as you can see from above. There was absolutely no professionalism at RAC!

They put up a good front to make it look like it but by far there was none. My next boss has been a employee of RAC for over 15 yrs and up until the postion became avaliable, was on the same level as I. We never got along from the start, he had other employees spy on me and go as far as to ask another employee in another state if she knew my where abouts. Again, professionalism! He treated people of his own race far better than any other, they even had private conversations in there language, knowing that noone else would understand.

The last draw for me was when I had a conflict with another employee, who was previously my employee. He went and told my customers and other employees he had a sexual relationship with me. He also went as far as to call me names and degrade my character! I brought this problem to my boss and to the home office. This company that I gave so much to and made money for, put my family second to, DID NOTHING. They asked me a whole bunch of nothing and then did nothing. Besides treating it customers like crap, they also treat there people the same. If anyone has any similar situations please feel free to reach out to me!
