Ripoff, dosen't show, false promises, dosen't return calls

Hired contractor on June 6 to do some masonary repair and replace sidewalk and driveway. After the minor repairs he broke up driveway and sidewalk and hasn't returned to finish the job.

I already gave him the 2nd installment of $2800 and after leaving my house with no sidewalk for 6 weeks he tells me he needs an additional $1225 to finish the job because the inspector wants him to do additional work to meet specifications.

He was informed of this work the day he broke up the sidewalk back in June by the inspector. He waited until Aug. 2 to contact me and I paid him the additional money to finish the job.

Again, he plays cat and mouse games with me, contacting me once a week telling me he is going to be at my house and never shows up. He rarely returns any calls and when I do here from him all I get is excuses.
