Kevin:

I am writing this email in an attempt to obtain some financial relief and resolve from an? Auto purchase gone bad? Which was conducted with you at Carriage Nissan on 2400 Browns Bridge Rd.in Gainesville GA. Hopefully we can reach a form of reparation and agreement, prior to any future legal and public actions. I have also tried calling you unsuccessfully, so that is one reason why I must communicate via this email.

As you know, the 2000 Chevrolet Impala immediately failed (about 15 minutes after purchase) on the night of purchase (03/30/06). My wife and I were put in a very dangerous situation when the engine quickly overheated, locked up, and started smoking badly in the middle of the boulevard. The vehicle was immediately returned to your site location and left overnight with a note describing the problem. You were called the next business day, and after your mechanics checked/repaired it, you indicated that the problem was? Radiator-related? And that it was definitely not any problems with the transmission. During my discussion with you, you repeatedly assured me that the vehicle had been inspected thoroughly, and that there were no engine or transmission problems, whatsoever.

We paid you a total of $3300.00 for a car that you knew would not last long. You even promised that it would. We trusted you, as we mentioned the importance of integrity, during our discussion. It must also be noted that we have not received the vehicle title, although the final payment was processed through Telechek. The check company has been harassing us profusely about the final payment. My response to them is that the vehicle purchase is under dispute.

The transmission on this car finally burnt out totally on 05/10/06. Since then, it has been towed and checked out by three (3) transmission professionals, indicating that it was very obvious that the transmission was failing, and would not have shutdown immediately as it did. The repair cost has been assessed at $1900.00 - $2800.00. My wife filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau on 05/12, after talking with your management to no avail. We are awaiting a researched response from them very soon, and I am prepared to launch any and all necessary efforts to publicly pronounce this? Rip-off? And lack of integrity. I am truly hoping that reparations will be chosen and made. Listed below are the details for the mentioned vehicle:
