Total ripoff

I was offered a credit card through Credit One Bank. I was told that there would be a yearly fee of 65 dollars and an initial fee of 75 dollars just to have the card. I accepted the card. I have never made any prchases with the card and yet for three months the amount owed to the company kept going up. I called the company to find out what was going on and was told that they charge 5.95 a month plus interest just to have the card. This is in addition to the yearly fee. I promptly requested to have my card canceled and was told that it would take three to six weeks to process that request. During that time I am still liable for any fees during that time (AKA the monthly service fee. I dont think that there is anything that I can do about it but I wanted people to know that this company is a total ripoff and takes advantage of people who are ignorant to how the credit card process works.
