Gave me his house said he would sign papers if paid off back mortgage he never signed corret papers now he is trying to take it away ripoff

Me and my family was given the house from the above named when we moved in he said all the mortgage was caught up we soon found out he had lied. So we asked him what was going on he then asked if we could help him pay it off and that he would go and sign the papers to the house.

We agreed to do it as long as he paid us back, and signed the papers. We also told him if he did not sign the papers we was not going to pay anything else on the house till he did he agreed.

Well this was back in november and here it is april and he still has not signed the papers the correct way but he did sign a quit claim deed but it was not notarized there was a witness that did sign the papper. And know he is trying to take us to court so he gets the house back so he can sell it
