Billed my bank account $159.95 for a credit card I did not order. They were working for Anytimepaydayloan and sent me an email to click to confirm my payday loan. I received no loan, and a bill instead. CAlifornia

EDP Reporting, acting for Anytimepaydayloan company of
San Francisco, billed me $159.95 for a visa card that I did not order. I was applying for a payday loan of $100 and to click to receive confirmation of a payday loan. I should never have clicked a suspicious looking email that had no company name or email address.

You cannot find EDP Reporting website, because too many
companies have that name. Anytimepaydayloan gives no
phone number or email address to call them.

It is too difficult to contact them. I was interested in their platinum card offer for 49.94 and wanted them to take the fee out of my payday loan. Because I could not contact them, I did not accept the offer. Anytimepaydayloan trys to sell people a lot of credit cards. People applying for a payday loan usually do not have money in the bank, and I really don't understand why they have EDP REporting going into people's bank account for them. What are they thinking?

If people applying for a payday loan had $159.95 then they probably would not need a payday loan. I am really afraid that these people might try it again. THis
credit card bill was done without my permission. I was
lucky. They billed my account, then before I could contact them, they reversed the charges. I am having too much trouble reaching them, as there voice mail always says that it's after hours and they are closed. My bank waived the $33 check bouncing fee.
