ULTIMA MODA New Retail Store Attempting to Destroy Neighborhood

On Saturday, April 1st, a new retailer named ULTIMA MODA had a "grand opening" in our neighborhood and "treated" the neighborhood to an all-day OUTSIDE/Parking Lot "fiesta" complete with loud bands, Spanish Radio Station coverage, traffic jams and microphone shouting. The music & dj could be heard 2 miles away, ALL DAY, forcing the residents to close our doors and windows trying to escape the noise. Phoenix Police received dozens of calls from neighborhood residents asking for their help shutting the noise down. When I contacted the radio station KPHN 88.3, they informed me they were hired by ULTIMA MODA to promote the opening of the business, and that the loudness of the speakers and the disturbance caused all day was the owner's problem. The owner of the small retail business was told by management that the grand opening would have to be a quiet affair and one that didn't cause a disturbance. Here's my message to ULTIMATE MODA and to KPHF 88.3 Radio: If you want to play music so loud it disrupts the peace and quiet of others, do it in your own back yard. Don't come to our neighborhood and subject us to your bullS*it. Your lack of concern for the neighborhood speaks volumes to your business ethics.
