Michels Screening
Took deposit for pool encl., have not done work and won't refund deposit ripoff

After 2004 Hurricanes in Florida, my pool enclosure was destroyed. Michels Screening gave me an estimate for a new pool enclosure on 2/2/05. I paid the deposit of $2067.89 and was advised they would begin work in approx. 3 months.

Nothing has been done. I have called them on numerous occasions. Recently I have had to leave messages because they have caller ID and don't pick up. I have never had a return call from them re the status of this job. When I have spoken to someone, I'm told someone will be here next week. This has been going on for 8 months now.

I have asked them to return my deposit, but they refuse to do so. They also have not done any work.
I found out from the Melbourne Police Dept. That they have had many complaints against this company, and some of the employees at Melbourne Police have filed complaints against them. They still manage to renew their business license each year even though they have ripped off so many people.
